JEREMIAH VELOSO
CO-FOUNDER
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

  • Jeremiah has long been a staunch enthusiast for powerful prose and robust rhetoric. He adheres to the writing philosophy and tradition of the ancient Greek progymnasmata. For this reason, he allows his home to thrive in the foundation of the Classical Method of Learning—as his mother (an educator and attorney) exposed him to the trivium and quadrivium of the Middle Ages & Renaissance throughout his childhood. She would fondly call him her ”Renaissance Man” as he became adept in all his many pursuits. Since 1996 he has worked as a Physical Therapist, enjoying the fascinating and lovely patients he visits in the Home Healthcare circuit. He is prolific and fascinated by all the many marvelous ways the human body performs movement—how it recovers & heals. For 35 years, Jeremiah has been an impressive athlete. He has diverse backgrounds in the martial arts world: Kali, JKD/Sari-An, Kickboxing, Kempo, MMA, and BJJ. He holds a black belt in 3 arts and is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach in Ascension MMA. He is a closet musician (only allowing his sons and wife to hear his resonant bass)—and for 10 years played the guitar for a small home-church community in Augusta, GA. An avid reader and thinker, he writes sports articles and blogs for Writers’ Ink.

Despite his many talents, he is a quiet, no-nonsense, unpretentious man. Along with Caryl and Glenn, they run Writers’ Ink, creating meaningful words and touching lives along the way.

CARYL VELOSO
FOUNDER
EDITOR-AT-LARGE

  • Adept at weaving rhetoric in disparate contexts, Caryl understands the nuances of the English language applied in diverse industries—Education, Corporate, Government, Religious, and Private sectors. She develops sharp, meaningful, and robust content with the Standard English Conventions and the Classical Education model strictly in mind. Expecting concision, clarity, and control from her students' compositions, she requires nothing less from herself.

Caryl operates in two fields: in Academe, she specializes in Standardized Test Preparation and scholarship application support for the university-bound student. In Corporate, she specializes in developing technical, strategic content for C-level executives.

Wherever she finds herself three principles frame her work ethic: (1) the joy to learn anything, (2) the inspiration to work anyplace, and (3) the heart to serve anyone.

Together with her husband, Jeremiah, they run a corporate housing rental property and serve as Married Community Group leaders at North Point Community Church in North Atlanta, GA.

Value Statements

To us, the Golden Rule matters:
“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

Hire someone with principles & a work
ethic—then you can trust them with your business.

DO AND EXPECT FIRST FROM yourself what you REQUIRE from others.

Having integrity is doing the right
thing—especially—when no one is looking.

Nothing will happen until someone takes
the initiative—and grumbling about it does not count.

Wherever you are, be there (And, don’t whine about it either).

Own your mistakes & learn from them.

The greatest servants still make the best leaders.

Say what you mean & mean what you say,
otherwise don’t even bother saying a thing.

Sure … Go ahead & make a good first impression,
but what matters is faithfulness & commitment to the long haul.

The client/guest is not always right, but everyone deserves our patience.

ALL people matter to God.
